This is a collection of some of the businesses, websites, research and creative projects I've worked on.
Some are ongoing, others are finished, and they vary considerably in scale. I've brought them together here to showcase what I've worked on, my involvement in each project, and how they've developed over time.
Business Ventures
I've been involved in building businesses across very different industries, from transport engineering to consumer products.
The projects below are businesses I've founded or co-founded and continue to develop. Each has involved taking an idea beyond the initial concept and working through the practical process of developing the product, brand, commercial model and wider business around it.
Container Aerodynamics
Founder & Managing Director · 2024–Present
Container Aerodynamics is developing the Aerodome, a removable aerodynamic roof fairing designed to reduce drag during the road transport of ISO shipping containers.
The project has progressed through design, modelling, testing and prototype development, alongside the commercial work required to move towards full-scale trials and eventual deployment.
Flaming Good Candles
Co-Founder · 2026–Present
Flaming Good Candles is an independent candle business built around novelty and decorative candles in a range of designs, colours and scents.
The business is being developed from the ground up, including its product range, branding, e-commerce presence and the systems required to take the products from manufacture through to online sale.
Web Design
Web Design & E-commerce · 2026–Present
I began building websites through my own projects before expanding into freelance work for other businesses and organisations.
My work now spans e-commerce, technical business websites and portfolio sites, including Container Aerodynamics, Flaming Good Candles and Roadhouse Apparel. I've worked across site structure, design, written content, product organisation and the practical process of taking a website from an idea through to launch.
And, of course, there's another example you're already looking at — I built this website too.
Writing & Research
Research · Articles · Books
Writing and research form another part of my work, ranging from academic research to independent writing and longer-form projects.
My first substantial research project examined the relationship between the American eugenics movement and the development of Nazi eugenic policy between 1900 and 1945. Originally completed as my Extended Project Qualification and awarded an A*, it is now being prepared for independent publication.
Future research, books, guides and other publications will be collected through the Writing & Research section as they're completed.

Art and design have been part of my work for several years, ranging from traditional artwork and educational projects to independent creative work and design produced for other projects.
My portfolio brings together selected finished pieces alongside larger projects, development work and newer work as it is completed.
