Web Design Pricing
Every website is different, but having a starting point helps.
Below you'll find a guide to my current web design pricing, from simple single-page websites to online shops and larger business sites. These prices are intended to give you an idea of what your project might cost — the final price will depend on what you actually need.
Not sure which one fits? That's completely fine. Bespoke quotes are available for projects of all shapes and sizes.
Ongoing Website Support
A website doesn't stop needing attention once it's launched. If you'd rather have someone take care of the occasional changes for you, I offer both monthly support and one-off updates.
Monthly Website Support — £50/month
For websites that need occasional ongoing changes, monthly support includes up to one hour of small website updates each month.
This can include changing text, replacing images, updating contact details or opening hours, adjusting existing content and making minor layout changes.
£50 per month · Up to 1 hour of updates · Cancel at any time
Unused time does not roll over between months. Larger changes, new pages, significant new functionality or work beyond the included hour can be quoted separately.
Ad Hoc Updates — £30/hour
If you only need something changed occasionally, you don't need to pay for ongoing support.
One-off website updates are available at £30 per hour, with a £30 minimum charge. This is suitable for occasional content changes, replacing images, minor layout adjustments, troubleshooting and other small jobs.
For anything more substantial, I'll agree a price with you before starting.
A Few Things to Know
The prices above are starting prices, rather than rigid packages. Two five-page websites can involve very different amounts of work, so I'll always confirm what you need and agree a price with you before starting.
My pricing covers the work involved in planning, designing and building your website. Squarespace subscriptions, domain names, business email accounts and any paid third-party services are separate, so those accounts remain under your ownership.
If you already have your domain, Squarespace account, branding, written content or other parts of the website ready to go, that's absolutely fine — we can work with what you already have.
Bespoke Quotes
Your website doesn't need to fit neatly into one of the options above.
Maybe you need three pages and a small online shop. Maybe you've already built half the website yourself and just want somebody to finish it. Maybe you have 100 products. Or maybe you've got an idea for a website but aren't quite sure what you actually need yet.
